Job summary

Asplundh Tree Expert, LLC in Wisconsin is seeking a Trimmer Trainee to trim and remove trees and debris, operate and maintain all required tools and equipment, and assist in maintaining safe, clean work sites.

This full-time, non-exempt position offers hourly pay and benefits, including health insurance and disability coverage. Training in safety protocols and tree-trimming techniques will be provided on the job.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Entry-level position, no experience required.
• Previous experience is a plus.
• Driver's License is Preferred, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Trims and/or removes trees, branches, trunk sections.
• Operates and services required tools/equipment.
• Cuts and splits large debris into manageable pieces.
• Sprays areas with equipment to prevent further growth.
• Loads/unloads trucks.
• Feeds brush & debris into a woodchipper.
• Repairs minor job-related damage to lawns, fences, and walkways.
• Relays hand signals, directs traffic, drives, and operates trucks and equipment.
• Keeps trucks and work areas clear and orderly.
• Safeguards employees and the public from hazards in and around the work area.
