Job summary

Asplundh Tree Expert, LLC is seeking a Trimmer Trainee in Port Washington, Wisconsin. This full-time, non-exempt position involves trimming and removing trees and debris, operating tools, and helping maintain safe work sites. Training will cover equipment use, safety protocols, and basic tree work.

Ideal candidates are 18+, able to work at heights, and willing to work outdoors in varying weather. No prior experience required; we provide on-the-job training and a path to advanced tree-trimming

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Able to work with hands above head for extended periods.
• Able to walk, climb, and work from ladders at varying heights.
• No fear of heights.
• Good hand-eye coordination.

Responsibilities

• Trims and/or removes trees, branches, trunk sections.
• Operates and services required tools and equipment.
• Cleans and splits large debris into manageable pieces.
• Relays signals, directs traffic, drives and operates trucks as assigned.
• Maintains safety and housekeeping on trucks and sites.
