Zielies Tree Service Inc. is seeking Tree Care Professionals to join our vegetation management team in Michigan. This full-time role offers 4 ten-hour days and opportunities to work on state-wide storm response, with competitive starting pay and comprehensive benefits.

Responsibilities include pruning, using chainsaws, herbicide application per maps, equipment maintenance, and adhering to safety practices. Excellent growth opportunities and paid training are provided.

Qualifications

• Primarily field-based work in vegetation management.
• Experience in pruning, trimming, and hazard assessment preferred.
• Ability to operate common tool types safely.

Responsibilities

• Cut and trim trees using industry best practices.
• Use wedges, sledges, and chainsaws for felling and trimming.
• Apply herbicide per maps to prevent growth where indicated.
• Load/unload logs, brush, and debris; feed material into a woodchipper when needed.
• Maintain tool and vehicle condition; keep work areas clean and safe.
