Job summary

SavATree is seeking a Groundsperson for our General Tree Care team. You will contribute to pruning, removals, cabling, and other essential tree care tasks on a variety of properties. Safe operation of chainsaws and rigging equipment is expected, with ongoing learning of climbing and pruning techniques.

We value a safety‑mocused, outdoors‑oriented individual who can work as part of a team and uphold high standards of quality and client service.

Qualifications

• A valid U.S. driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Desire to work outdoors and a passion for tree care.
• Willingness to learn climbing without spurs and pruning techniques.
• Interest in mastering chainsaw operation and equipment handling.
• Commitment to safety and quality; authorized to work in the U.S.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with crew to prune, remove, cabling, bracing, and other tree care tasks.
• Operate chainsaws, rigging, and other equipment safely and effectively.
• Apply climbing and pruning techniques to maintain tree health and safety.
• Provide excellent service to clients on various properties.
• Learn and apply proper safety protocols and industry best practices.
