Job summary

SavATree LLC is seeking a Groundsperson to join our Tree Care Team, enabling outdoor work on diverse properties in the community. You’ll engage in pruning, removals, cable bracing, and other tree care tasks, while safely operating equipment and delivering excellent service to clients.

Ideal candidates will have hands-on pruning experience, knowledge of tree and shrub species, and proficiency with safety standards. We offer competitive pay, benefits, and development opportunities.

Qualifications

• Experience with proper pruning practices including large shade trees and ornamentals
• Ability to identify native and introduced tree and shrub species and have a working knowledge of each species’ characteristics
• Experience with tree care safety standards
• Practical knowledge of chainsaw and equipment operation
• Experience with aerial lifts (bucket truck)
• Must be authorized to lawfully work in the U.S.

Responsibilities

• Work on a General Tree Care crew to provide high quality tree care to clients
• Prune, remove, cable bracing and other tree care tasks
• Safely operate all equipment and provide excellent service to clients
