The Davey Tree Expert Company seeks dedicated personnel for permanent, full-time tree trimming and removal work across multiple US locations. You will join a crew, learn climbing, pruning, and hazard assessment, and progressively take on more complex tasks under safety guidelines.

Responsibilities include operating chainsaws and related gear while following industry standards. Training and advancement opportunities are provided within a supportive, employee-owned organization.

Qualifications

• Love of the outdoors.
• CDL A- required.
• Preferred: Forestry, Horticulture, Landscaping background; working at heights.

Responsibilities

• Learn to climb trees and operate as part of a tree crew.
• Perform pruning and removal tasks safely and skillfully.
• Identify trees and follow pruning guidelines.
• Prune, thin, and remove deadwood in canopies.
• Learn to install cables, bracing, and lightning protection.
• Assist in removing hazardous trees.
• Maintain and operate tools and equipment including chainsaws, chippers, aerial lifts.
