Job summary

Ansco & Associates, LLC is seeking a Tree Crew Laborer to assist in clearing and cleaning trees and obstructions for telecom infrastructure projects. You will collect debris, remove branches, load materials, and operate shredding equipment, ensuring safety and efficiency on the job site.

The role requires climbing or ladder access, tool maintenance, overtime readiness, and strong teamwork in all weather conditions. Training and competitive benefits provided to support safety and career growth.

Qualifications

At least 18 years old.
Authorized to work in the United States for this company.
Ability to brace, tie, and guide trees and branches to provide support.
Ability to sharpen, lubricate, and maintain tools and equipment.
Ability to climb trees using climbing hooks and climbing belt, or climb ladders to gain access to work area.
Must be able to demonstrate ability to maintain positive working relationships both internally and externally.
Able to work as needed (overtime, after hours, on weekends, for emergencies or on-call) and in all weather conditions.

Responsibilities

Collect debris from trimming and removal operations into piles using rakes, shovels, and/or forks.
Cut away dead or excess branches from trees, or clear branches around power and communication lines, using climbing equipment, or buckets of extended truck booms, while operating chainsaws, hand saws, or pruning equipment.
Load debris onto trucks in preparation for hauling away.
Operate shredding and chipping equipment and feed limbs and brush into these machines.
Remove broken limbs from utility wires using hooked extension poles.
Trim, top, and reshape trees to achieve attractive shapes or to remove low-hanging branches.
Operate boom trucks, brush chippers/grinders, power saws, trucks, and other equipment typical to the tree maintenance industry.
Will monitor all activity on job site to ensure procedures are followed for others engaged in tree trimming work for maximum efficiency and safety, as well as providing training as needed.
