Job summary

Ansco & Associates, LLC is seeking a Tree Crew Laborer to support telecom infrastructure projects. You’ll collect debris, trim branches, and operate equipment to keep work sites safe and productive. This hands-on role requires physical stamina and teamwork.

You’ll receive weekly pay, paid time off, and benefits while growing your skills in a safety-focused environment. Ideal candidate is 18+ with ability to climb, handle tools, and work outdoors in all weather.

Qualifications

• 18 years or older
• Authorized to work in the United States for this company
• Ability to brace, tie, and guide trees and branches to provide support
• Ability to sharpen, lubricate, and maintain tools and equipment
• Ability to climb trees using climbing hooks and climbing belt, or climb ladders to gain access to the work area
• Must demonstrate ability to maintain positive working relationships both internally and externally
• Able to work as needed (over-time, after hours, on weekends, for emergencies or on-call) and in all weather conditions

Responsibilities

• Collect debris from trimming and removal operations into piles using rakes, shovels, and/or forks
• Cut away dead or excess branches and clear branches around power and communication lines using climbing equipment or extended booms
• Load debris onto trucks for hauling away
• Operate shredding and chipping equipment and feed limbs and brush into machines
• Remove broken limbs from utility wires using hooked extension poles
• Trim, top, and reshape trees to improve appearance and remove low-hanging branches
• Operate boom trucks, brush chippers/grinders, power saws, trucks, and related equipment
• Monitor job-site activities to ensure safety and efficiency; provide training as needed

What You’ll Do

• Collect debris and from trimming and removal operations into piles using rakes, shovels, and/or forks
• Cut away dead or excess branches from trees, or clear branches around power and communication lines, using climbing equipment, or buckets of extended truck booms, while operating chainsaws, hand saws, or pruning equipment
• Load debris onto trucks in preparation for hauling away.
• Operate shredding and chipping equipment and feed limbs and brush into these machines.
• Remove broken limbs from utility wires using hooked extension poles.
• Trim, top, and reshape trees to achieve attractive shapes or to remove low-hanging branches
• Operate boom trucks, brush chippers/grinders, power saws, trucks, and other equipment typical to the tree maintenance industry.
• Will monitor all activity on job site to ensure procedures are followed for others engaged in tree trimming work for maximum efficiency and safety, as well as providing training as needed.
