Moon Valley Nurseries is seeking a Tree Care Climber to assist the Foreman in leading crew activities, climbing and trimming trees, and operating equipment like chainsaws and chippers. The role focuses on safety, teamwork, and ongoing skill development.

Ideal candidates will have high school education, and be comfortable working outdoors in diverse conditions, with the ability to lift up to 50 lbs and follow ANSI and OSHA standards. Training is provided to grow professionally within the company.

• Knowledge of climbing harnesses, tree gaffs, chippers, and chainsaws.

Job SummaryThe Tree Care Climber is responsible for assisting the Foreman by helping lead the crew, climbing and trimming trees, operating equipment such as chainsaws and chippers and helping other crew members with tasks and continually learning new things. The position is active and may require standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, crouching, crawling, and climbing throughout the day. The employee must frequently reach for, pull, lift, and/or move items weighing up to and over 50 lbs. The employee must be able to work outdoors for extended periods of time in possibly extreme conditions, including rain, heat, sun, and wind.
