Moon Valley Nurseries is hiring a Tree Care Climber to assist the Foreman, lead crew activities, prune and remove trees, and operate chainsaws and chippers. You will climb trees up to 60 ft and follow safety protocols to ensure client safety and satisfaction.

The role emphasizes learning, teamwork, and adherence to OSHA and ANSI standards. This is a full-time, on-site position with training and development opportunities within a leading North American tree nursery company.

Competenze

• High school diploma or equivalent required.

Job SummaryThe Tree Care Climber is responsible for assisting the Foreman by helping lead the crew, climbing and trimming trees, operating equipment such as chainsaws and chippers and helping other crew members with tasks and continually learning new things. The position is active and may require standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, crouching, crawling, and climbing throughout the day. The employee must frequently reach for, pull, lift, and/or move items weighing up to and over 50 lbs. The employee must be able to work outdoors for extended periods of time in possibly extreme conditions, including rain, heat, sun, and wind.
