Treatment Specialist – Telehealth Audiologist
Full-Time | Remote

Job Summary:
We are currently seeking a dynamic and skilled Telehealth Audiologist to join our team as a Treatment Specialist. This individual will play a key role in delivering high-quality hearing healthcare remotely, supporting both the Earlens hearing solution and traditional hearing aids. The ideal candidate will be comfortable conducting diagnostic evaluations, making prescription recommendations for hearing treatment, and using best practices to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct virtual hearing consultations, including patient education and prescription recommendations for both Earlens and traditional hearing aids.
• Ensure best practice diagnostic protocols are followed, including Cognivue screening, QuickSIN, and Familiar Voice testing as part of the diagnostic and/or consultation process.
• Educate patients thoroughly on their test results and treatment options.
• Perform remote fittings and adjustments for Earlens devices, utilizing telehealth tools to ensure precision and comfort.
• Fit and program traditional hearing aids, utilizing Real Ear Measurements (REM) at initial fitting.
• Reassess cognitive screening (Cognivue) at the 6-month follow-up appointment to monitor patient outcomes.
• Provide ongoing counseling, education, and troubleshooting support to patients regarding hearing loss and device use.
• Maintain accurate and thorough patient documentation within the electronic medical records (EMR) system.
• Collaborate with internal teams and referring providers to support seamless patient care.
• Stay current with industry advancements in audiology and telehealth practices.
• Meet established productivity and quality benchmarks while delivering exceptional patient care.

Requirements:

• Doctorate in Audiology (Au.D.) from an accredited institution.
• Valid audiology license in at least one U.S. state (priority states: MO, VA, CA, NJ, TX). We are happy to assist with licensing in additional states as needed.
• Minimum of 2 years of clinical audiology experience, with strong proficiency in hearing aid fittings and patient education.
• Experience with or interest in telehealth and remote care delivery.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage and support patients virtually.
• Ability to work independently while contributing to a collaborative team environment.
• High level of organization and attention to detail.
• Commitment to maintaining patient confidentiality and compliance with HIPAA standards.
