Whispering Pines Lodge in Texas is seeking a Treatment Nurse (LVN or RN) to deliver wound care, treatment services, and compassionate nursing to our residents. You will collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to improve outcomes and ensure high-quality care.

The ideal candidate holds an active LVN or RN license in good standing, has wound care experience, strong assessment, documentation, and communication skills, and works well both independently and in a team-centered environment.

Qualifications

• Active LVN or RN license in good standing.
• Experience in wound care and treatment procedures preferred.
• Strong assessment and documentation skills.
• Excellent communication with physicians, staff, and families.
• Ability to work independently and within a team.

Responsabilités

• Perform dressing changes, wound assessments, and specialized skin treatments.
• Monitor healing progress and document outcomes.
• Communicate care plans with physicians and families.
• Evaluate residents’ nutritional and hydration needs related to wound healing.
• Review lab results for signs of infection.
• Educate staff on wound prevention and treatment protocols.
• Assist with floor staffing to ensure continuity of care.
