Job summary

The Rim Dental Care in San Antonio, TX is seeking a Treatment Coordinator to translate a doctor’s diagnosis into a written plan with real numbers, present it without pressure, and follow up with patients who need time. You will break down insurance coverage, estimate benefits, and arrange financing to prevent delays in care.

You will schedule treatments on the spot, manage weekly follow-ups, and track conversion rates to optimize practice performance.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in a dental practice, ideally in treatment presentation.
• Strong grasp of dental procedures, coding, and insurance benefits.
• Comfortable asking for the appointment and following up without pressure.
• Organized enough to manage weekly follow-up lists and finish them.

Responsibilities

• Present treatment plans with itemized fees and explain what each procedure does.
• Break down insurance coverage, estimated benefits, and out-of-pocket costs.
• Arrange financing and payment plans so cost is not a barrier.
• Schedule accepted treatment on the spot and keep plans moving in order.
• Work the unscheduled and partially completed treatment list weekly.
• Track case acceptance and report on conversions and non-conversions.

As Treatment Coordinator you take the doctor's diagnosis, translate it into a written plan with real numbers, present it without pressure, and follow up with the people who left saying they would think about it.

What you'll do

• Present treatment plans with itemized fees and an honest explanation of what each procedure does.
• Break down insurance coverage, estimated benefits, and out-of-pocket cost before treatment is scheduled.
• Arrange financing and payment plans so cost is not the reason care gets delayed.
• Schedule accepted treatment on the spot and keep sequenced plans moving in the right order.
• Work the unscheduled and partially completed treatment list every week.
• Track case acceptance and report on what is converting and what is not.

What we're looking for

• A confident, unhurried presence in a difficult conversation about money.
• Solid grasp of dental procedures, coding, and insurance benefits — enough to answer most questions without leaving the room.
• Comfortable asking for the appointment, and following up without being pushy.
• Organized enough to work a follow-up list every week and actually finish it.
• Two or more years in a dental practice, ideally in treatment presentation, financial coordination, or insurance.
