The Treatment Coordinator facilitates a positive patient experience by building strong relationships between patients and the practice, ensuring office productivity and patient retention. They ensure patients leave well-informed and prepared for their next appointment.

Duties & Responsibilities
  • Communicate treatment options and prepare financial and insurance arrangements with patients.
  • Ensure a smooth and seamless patient experience.
  • Assist with financial arrangements and coordinate appointments.
  • Manage consultation reports and track patient progress.
  • Work with the clinical team to effectively manage daily patient flow.
  • Adhere to confidentiality, and comply with state, federal, and HIPAA laws regarding patient records.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Required Skills/Abilities
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Flexible and willing to perform duties of others in their absence.
  • Attention to detail and familiarity with orthodontic software programs, particularly Cloud9.
  • Knowledge of dental terminology and procedures.
  • Experience with taking impressions and digital scans; proficiency with ITero or similar scanners preferred.
  • Actively participate as a contributing member of the office staff to achieve patient satisfaction and office production goals.
Education & Experience
  • Previous experience in an orthodontic or healthcare setting.
  • Certification to take radiographs (typically DANB RHS).
  • High School Diploma or GED required.
