Job summary

Creedence Energy Services in Kilgore, TX seeks a Commercial Driver Operator to deliver chemicals to oil wells and maintain safe vehicle operations. The role requires 1+ year in oil and gas and a Class A CDL with tanker endorsement, plus additional endorsements preferred. You will work Mon-Fri with overtime and potential weekend work.

Home nightly, non-exempt hourly position with benefits starting after start date; CDL, safety compliance, and accurate log/reporting are essential.

Qualifications

• Education/Experience: High school diploma or GED and 1+ years in oil and gas industry is preferred.
• Certifications/Licenses: Class A CDL and tanker endorsement preferred. Class B, hazmat and airbrake endorsement, ability to drive a manual transmission required.
• Driving Requirements: Follow all FMCSA and DOT regulations.
• Physical Requirements: Lift and carry up to 100 pounds and handle drums up to 600 pounds.
• Work Environment: Indoor/outdoor with exposure to weather and chemicals.
• Language Skills: English fluency; bilingual helpful.
• Mathematical Skills: Calculate and record chemical inventory.
• Work Ethic: Safety and customer service oriented.

Responsibilities

• Complete pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicle and equipment.
• Load trucks properly.
• Deliver chemicals and treat wells as scheduled.
• Treat wells to prevent corrosion and buildup.
• Complete treatment reports and maintain logs.

Remote Status: Onsite. Position not eligible for company housing, per diem, or rotational schedules.

Schedule: Mon-Fri, with the occasional weekend due to weather delays, customer requests, etc. Daytime hours.

FLSA Status: Non-Exempt, Hourly. Home every night. Overtime is available and expected.

Job Summary

Provide chemical treatments to oil wells according to customer specifications and company processes. Maintenance and safe operations of vehicles used to deliver chemicals to customers and warehouse.

Essential Duties – other duties as assigned

• Complete pre-trip and post-trip inspections of company vehicle and equipment
• Properly load trucks
• Deliver chemicals and treat wells in a timely manner, as scheduled
• Treat wells to prevent corrosion, scale build up, etc.
• Timely completion of treatment reports (electronic format)
• Maintain driver’s logs, according to DOT regulations
• Work well independently and as a team

Qualifications

Physical Requirements– Lift and carry up to 100 pounds, tip and move 55-gallon drums, weighing up to 600 pounds with the use of equipment. Must be able to reach, push, pull, and grasp with arms and hands. Will require daily repetitive pulling, twisting, climbing, standing, crouching and/or kneeling, sitting, walking, driving, and transitioning in/out of vehicles. Must be able to talk, hear and feel attributes of objects or temperatures by touching with the skin.

Required to have the visual acuity to safely and legally operate motor vehicles and/or heavy equipment.

Work Environment– Indoors and outdoors, with exposure to environmental conditions such as extreme weather, precipitation and wind. Includes potential exposure to harmful chemicals, dust, odors, fumes, oil and gases. Employee will be subject to road conditions found throughout the Basin(s). Noise level is typically moderate, occasionally loud.

Language Skills: Ability to read, interpret and understand documents such as safety rules, safety data sheets (SDSs), operating instructions, and procedure manuals. English language fluency in reading, writing speaking, and comprehending. Bilingual is beneficial.

Mathematical Skills – Ability to accurately calculate and record chemical inventory is crucial. Must be able to add, subtract, multiply, and divide using weight and volume measurements.

Must pass pre-employment drug test, motor vehicle record check, background check, education/employment verification, and FMCSA Clearinghouse.
