Job summary

Creedence Energy Services is hiring a Chemical Delivery Specialist (CDL) in Arcadia, LA. The role involves delivering chemicals to oilfield well sites, loading/unloading trucks, and performing required safety and regulatory checks.

The position operates on a 5 days on / 2 days off schedule, with overtime and home nightly. A Class B CDL with tanker, hazmat, and airbrakes endorsements is required; Class A is a plus.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED required; 1–3 years oil/gas experience preferred.
  • Class B CDL with tanker, hazmat, airbrakes endorsements; manual transmission required; Class A CDL preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Load and unload trucks.
  • Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles and equipment.
  • Deliver chemicals and treat wells on schedule.
  • Treat wells to prevent corrosion and scale buildup.
  • Complete bills of lading and other reports per policy.
  • Maintain inventory and delivery documentation.
  • Keep driver logs per DOT regulations.
  • Follow SOPs and work well independently or in a team.
  • Must pass pre-employment drug test, MVR check, FMCSA Clearinghouse, and background check.

Job Title:Chemical Delivery Specialist (CDL required)

Remote Status: Onsite

Schedule:5 days on/2 days off. Mon-Fri, with the occasional weekend due to weather delays, customer requests, etc. Daytime hours.

FLSA Status:Non-Exempt, Hourly. Home every night. Overtime is available and expected.

Certifications/Licenses:Class B CDL with tanker, hazmat, airbrake endorsements and manual transmission required. Class A CDL preferred.
Job Summary
Provides chemical treatments to oilfield well sites according to customer specifications and company processes.Clean driving record required. Must be able to work at a fast pace while keeping safety as a top priority.
Essential Duties
–other duties as assigned
  • Properly load and unload trucks
  • Complete pre-trip and post-trip inspections of company vehicle and equipment
  • Deliver chemicals and treat wells in a timely manner, as scheduled
  • Treat wells to prevent corrosion, scale build up, etc.
  • Accurately complete bills of lading (BOLs) and other reports according to company policy
  • Maintain accurate inventory reports according to company policy
  • Timely completion of reports and documentation
  • Maintain driver’s logs according to DOT regulations
  • Follow all SOPs (standard operating procedures)
  • Work well both independently and as a team
Other Qualifications
Education/Experience: High school diploma or GED and 1-3 years in oil and gas industry work history is preferred. Certifications/Licenses: Class A CDL preferred, Class B CDL with hazmat, tanker, airbrakes endorsements required. Must be licensed to drive manuals and automatics. Driving Requirements:Commercial driver's license required. Follow all FMCSA, DOT, and hazmat regulations.
Physical Requirements – Lift and carry up to 100 pounds. Pull and drag hoses in outdoor environments, include adverse weather. Tip and move 55-gallon drums, weighing up to 600 pounds with the use of equipment. Must be able to reach, push, pull, and grasp with arms and hands. Will require daily climbing, twisting, standing, crouching. kneeling, sitting, walking, driving, and transitioning in/out of vehicles. Must be able to talk, hear, and feel attributes of objects or temperatures by touching with the skin. Required to have the visual acuity to safely and legally operate motor vehicles and/or heavy equipment.
Work Environment: – Indoors and outdoors with exposure to environmental conditions such as extreme winter weather, precipitation, and wind. Includes potential exposure to harmful chemicals, dust, odors, fumes, oil, and gases on a daily basis. Employee will be subject to road conditions found throughout the Williston Basin. Noise level is typically moderate, occasionally loud.
Communication Skills – Effective verbal and written communication skills as well as providing excellent customer service.
Language Skills – Ability to read, interpret, and understand documents such as safety rules, safety data sheets (SDSs), operating instructions, and procedure manual. English language fluency in reading, writing, speaking, and comprehending. Bilingual is beneficial.
Cognitive Skills – Ability to read and follow detailed delivery schedules, routing instructions, and safety data sheets while accurately identifying chemical products, labels, and hazard markings. Requires strong attention to detail and situational awareness to safely operate delivery equipment across varying site conditions. Must prioritize tasks and exercise sound judgment while coordinating loading/offloading operations, product transfers, and accurate completion of delivery tickets and inventory documentation.
Computer Skills – Efficiently navigate a web browser, mobile applications, electronic timesheets, MS Office, and programs such as OneNote for recording daily deliveries. Must possess a smartphone with internet access.
Mathematical Skills – Ability to accurately calculate and record chemical inventory is crucial. Must be able to add, subtract, multiply, and divide using weight and volume measurements.
Work Ethic – Be trustworthy, dependable, respectful, and truthful with a commitment to safety and excellent customer service. Follow policies and procedures and take responsibility for your actions.

Must pass a pre-employment drug test, motor vehicle record check, FMCSA Clearinghouse, and background check.
