Job summary

Creedence Energy Services is seeking a Truck Treater Operator to join our Operations team in a daytime, 5 days on/2 days off schedule. This onsite role involves delivering chemical treatments to oil wells, maintaining vehicle safety, and completing timely reports.

Overtime is available and expected. Qualified applicants will have a High school diploma or GED, with 1–3 years in oil and gas preferred, and a Class A CDL or Class B with Hazmat/Tanker endorsements.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED is required.
  • 1–3 years in oil and gas preferred.
  • CDL is preferred; Class B with Hazmat/Tanker allowed.
  • Must pass pre-employment screenings including FMCSA Clearinghouse.

Responsibilities

  • Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles and equipment.
  • Load trucks properly and deliver chemicals to customers.
  • Treat wells and monitor chemical treatments as scheduled.
  • Complete treatment reports and maintain driver logs per DOT.
  • Work independently and as part of a team to meet safety standards.

Job Title: Truck Treater Operator
Department: Operations
Remote Status: Onsite. Position not eligible for company housing, per diem, or rotational schedules.
Schedule: 5 days on/2 days off. Mon-Fri, with the occasional weekend due to weather delays, customer requests, etc. Daytime hours.
FLSA Status: Non-Exempt, Hourly. "Home every night". Overtime is available and expected.

Job Summary

Provide chemical treatments to oil wells according to customer specifications and company processes. Maintenance and safe operations of vehicles used to deliver chemicals to customers and warehouse.

Essential Duties – other duties as assigned
  • Complete pre-trip and post-trip inspections of company vehicle and equipment
  • Properly load trucks
  • Deliver chemicals and treat wells in a timely manner, as scheduled
  • Treat wells to prevent corrosion, scale build up, etc.
  • Timely completion of treatment reports (electronic format)
  • Maintain driver’s logs, according to DOT regulations
  • Work well independently and as a team
Qualifications
Education/Experience:

High school diploma or GED and 1-3 years in oil and gas industry is preferred.

Certifications/Licenses:

Class A CDL preferred, Class B CDL with Hazmat and Tanker endorsement required.

Driving Requirements:

Follow all FMCSA and DOT regulations.

Physical Requirements – Lift and carry up to 100 pounds, tip and move 55-gallon drums, weighing up to 600 pounds with the use of equipment. Must be able to reach, push, pull, and grasp with arms and hands. Will require daily repetitive pulling, twisting, climbing, standing, crouching and/or kneeling, sitting, walking, driving, and transitioning in/out of vehicles. Must be able to talk, hear and feel attributes of objects or temperatures by touching with the skin.

Required to have the visual acuity to safely and legally operate motor vehicles and/or heavy equipment.

Work Environment – Indoors and outdoors, with exposure to environmental conditions such as extreme weather, precipitation and wind. Includes potential exposure to harmful chemicals, dust, odors, fumes, oil and gases. Employee will be subject to road conditions found throughout the Basin(s). Noise level is typically moderate, occasionally loud.
Language Skills:

Ability to read, interpret and understand documents such as safety rules, safety data sheets (SDSs), operating instructions, and procedure manuals. English language fluency in reading, writing speaking, and comprehending. Bilingual is beneficial.

Mathematical Skills – Ability to accurately calculate and record chemical inventory is crucial. Must be able to add, subtract, multiply, and divide using weight and volume measurements.
