Job summary

TradeStation in Plantation, FL, is seeking a Treasury Specialist to process cash and position transfers in a self-clearing environment. You will reconcile accounts and serve as a liaison between Sales and Client Experience to answer treasury inquiries.

This role requires robust Excel skills, accuracy under deadlines, and the ability to work across teams, including disaster recovery planning and occasional travel for training.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in Treasury/Cashiering or self-clearing brokerage operations experience and/or training required.
• Accounting and reconciliation experience required.
• Familiarity with IRA transaction processing.
• Proficiency in MS Excel, Word and Outlook.

Responsibilities

• Process various types of Treasury deposit and disbursement requests including but not limited to wire transfers, checks, ACHs, journal entries of cash and/or positions between customer accounts, currency conversions, fee processing and transactions for other vendor offerings.
• Participate in responding to Treasury related inquiries from colleagues in different departments.
• Responsible for cross training with our ACATs team to act as a backup when business needs require resources in that department.
• Responsible for multiple Treasury functions for business continuity during disaster recovery situations.
• Ability to travel for disaster recovery, training, and other business purposes

What We Are Looking For:

The candidate will also handle account reconciliations and act as a liaison between our Sales and Client Experience departments to respond to Treasury related inquiries.

Minimum Qualifications:

• 3+ years of experience in Treasury/Cashiering or self-clearing brokerage operations experience and/or training required
• Accounting and reconciliation experience required
• Familiarity with IRA transaction processing
• Proficiency in MS Excel, Word and Outlook

Desired Qualifications:

• College degree or equivalent experience preferred
• SunGard Phase 3, RJO GMI, or other back-office brokerage systems a plus
