The Treasury Consultant position is a sales role responsible to develop marketing plans, customer calling and sales of commercial banking products targeted toward the Commercial & Middle Market sized companies.Essential Duties:Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.Partners with lenders and other banking personnel to sell Treasury Management services to clients and prospects and develop/execute on annual sales plan for each banker’s portfolio; joint calling, relationship planning, market events (as applicable).Develops new Treasury Management business by analyzing market research data and current customer data from internal systems to develop a list of prospects and/or cross sell opportunities.Prepares and presents comprehensive sales proposals and presentations/demos to clients in addition to participating and leading product training for various audiences.Pre-call and post call imbedded in sales process consistently.Manages all elements of the Treasury Management sales cycle to include business development, prospect qualification, needs analysis, and close.Acts in role of business service charge captain to train, support and target growth of business service charges for the bank.Responsible for business relationship management of all Treasury Management products. Works closely with Treasury Solutions Client Support to implement new services and resolve any issues.Partners and supports identification of product improvements/solutions and communicating same to Sales Leader.Prepares statement Proforma and sales proposals after detailed needs assessment. Consultative sales approach is critical to selling the value of a relationship with the bank. Maintains strong consultative relationship with clients, particular emphasis on key client base to ensure the growth of the business service charge portfolio of the bank.Tracks pipeline and sales activity to report results on a monthly basis.Completes annual trainings as assigned and keeps up-to-date knowledge of BSA as it relates to the job function.Performs other duties as assigned.Equal Opportunity Employer/Veterans/Disabled
