The Opportunity:

The Treasury & Servicing Specialist plays an essential role in keeping Rockbridge's treasury and loan servicing operations accurate, controlled, and running smoothly across the firm's funds, investments, and corporate entities. Reporting to the Vice President, Treasury & Servicing Operations, this role partners with the Treasury Specialist to support daily cash activity, banking relationships, reporting, and administration of a diverse loan portfolio. With activity spanning more than 30 banking relationships and nearly 500 bank accounts, the Specialist helps ensure transactions are completed accurately and on time while maintaining the controls that protect the firm.

What You'll Do:

Support daily treasury operations

• Initiate day-to-day cash transactions alongside the Treasury Specialist, preparing activity schedules, gathering approvals and supporting documentation, and initiating book transfers, wires, and ACH transactions
• Monitor the Treasury mailbox and respond to requests within 24 hours, including wire instructions, payment confirmations, bank account administration, and general treasury inquiries
• Support bank account administration across 30+ banks, including account opening and closing documentation, signatory updates, and user administration across bank portals under dual administrative control
• Produce daily cash balance and activity reporting, along with monthly cash files for Portfolio Management, Corporate Accounting, and Fund Accounting, leveraging Kyriba and available system resources
• Support the daily operation and maintenance of the Kyriba Treasury Management System and deposit checks across Rockbridge entities using the remote deposit scanner

Coordinate loan servicing and debt activity

• Coordinate cash-related servicing for Rockbridge loans with Loan Asset Management, including receipts, principal draws and paydowns, escrow and reserve activity, lender invoices and remittances, and interest rate and service fee updates; prepare payment requests and supporting documentation for initiation by the Treasury Specialist
• Complete non-cash servicing activities for Rockbridge debt investments in Yardi, including invoicing, recording debt service payments, reserve deposits, and payoff processing
• Administer escrow and reserve accounts, including tax payments, annual escrow analyses, monthly reconciliations, and reporting to properties, while maintaining appropriate controls
• Coordinate with lenders and third-party servicers, including Newmark, GBQ, and Argent, on fund-level and corporate debt activity such as subscription line draws and paydowns, lender invoices, rate and cap statements, lender reporting, and portal administration
• Maintain amortization schedules and complete loan and escrow records and supporting documentation in Yardi

Strengthen processes and controls

• Document treasury and servicing procedures, identify opportunities to improve efficiency, and recommend practical process enhancements
• Maintain a high standard of accuracy by carefully reviewing work and completing a self-review of all deliverables

Who You Are:

• Four-year college degree (B.A. or B.S.)
• Approximately 4-6 years of commercial real estate loan servicing, treasury, and/or business banking experience
• Working knowledge of commercial real estate loan servicing and mechanics, including amortization, draws and paydowns, escrows and reserves, and rate adjustments
• Experience with multiple online banking systems, such as Huntington, BMO, Western Alliance, and Chase, as well as lender portals
• Exceptionally accurate, with close attention to detail
• Balance multiple assignments and competing priorities without compromising accuracy
• Build strong working relationships and communicate clearly with lenders, servicers, and internal partners
• Show initiative, set clear priorities, work independently, and drive projects through to completion
• Experience operating and maintaining a Treasury Management System; Kyriba is preferred
• Experience with a loan servicing system; Yardi is preferred
• Strong proficiency with Microsoft Excel and other business applications
• Demonstrated ability to identify process improvements and implement effective solutions
