Job summary

Dominium, a national affordable housing developer and manager with offices in Dallas, seeks a Partner Services Accountant to prepare financial reports, journal entries, account reconciliations and analyses to ensure accurate financial reporting for the company. This role also supports Treasury management duties such as monitoring daily cash and preparing wires, while leading project-based accounting tasks.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or closely related field.
• Minimum of one year of accounting or relevant professional work experience.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook); experience with accounting software preferred.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.

Responsibilities

• Supports Treasury Management duties including monitoring daily cash availability, managing Treasury Management requests, reviewing and transmitting wire transfers, and reviewing and approving accounts payable.
• Serves as a project-focused resource by initiating, preparing, reviewing, and revising projects prior to submission to the Supervisor.
• Supports month-end procedures, interest statement preparation, performing cascades within the system, recording cash activity, and Surplus Cash reporting.
• Supports the Accounting Department by performing or directing authorized accounting functions necessary to ensure effective operations and fulfilling other duties as assigned by Accounting Management.
• Demonstrate a willingness to go above and beyond normal responsibilities when assistance is needed on special projects.
