Mizuho Americas is seeking a VP-level Treasury Product Control professional to partner with Capital Markets Treasury, Operations and Finance to ensure accurate ledger recording of treasury, derivatives, hedging and FTP activity. The role involves daily production, variance analysis and reporting for fixed-income, loans, derivatives, and FX.

Responsibilities include month-end close reconciliations, control evaluation, collaboration with FP&A on budgets, and supporting auditors.

Qualificações

• 7-10+ years of experience in financial services or product control.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA preferred but not required).
• Problem-solving and analytical skills with attention to detail.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
• Understanding of Funding Products and Strategies preferred but not required.

Responsabilidades

• The Treasury Product Control team seeks an experienced VP responsible for daily production, variance analysis and reporting for Treasury fixed-income, loans, derivatives, and FX portfolio.
• Preparation of weekly control pack for senior management.
• Month-end close reconciliation, including balance sheet substantiation and reporting for internal and external stakeholders.
• Evaluate internal controls and document procedures; liaise with auditors.
• Collaborate with business analysts, project managers, and IT to implement process and control improvements.
• Collaborate with FP&A on budget planning.
• Collaborate on FTP with trading desks.
• Assist Financial Control with P&L and balance sheet drivers.
