Job summary

Nomura is hiring a Treasury Product Control Associate in New York, NY. The role focuses on daily P&L and balance sheet analysis, governance of product controls, and collaboration with global teams.

You will support month-end close, reporting schedules, and process improvements within a hybrid work arrangement. The ideal candidate has at least 3 years in product control, a finance-related bachelor’s degree, and strong analytical and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of product control experience, preferably treasury product control
• Bachelor’s degree in finance, economics, or accounting
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with ability to digest complex information
• Team player and proactive, detail-oriented, able to work across global teams

Responsibilities

• Conduct daily UF analysis and reporting, P&L analysis and commentary, and balance sheet substantiation
• Understand FTP charge models and treasury reserves; respond to stakeholder queries
• Collaborate with business managers, global Treasury, trading desks, IT, market risk, and IPV teams
• Support month-end close and prepare financial reporting schedules
• Contribute to process improvement projects and book management processes
• Maintain proper controls as measured by KRI metrics
