Acentra Health is seeking a Banking Operations Analyst to join our team. This role ensures the integrity and efficiency of the IHSC program’s financial operations by managing cash flow, payment processing, and bank activity to support timely provider payments and robust internal controls.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field (contractually required)
• 5+ years of experience in treasury operations, cash management, or payment processing
• Strong background in bank reconciliations, ACH/EFT processing, and financial reporting
• Experience working with banks, payment processors, and clearinghouses
• Familiarity with state and federal financial compliance requirements
• Proficiency in banking file formats (e.g., NACHA, BAI2, CTX)
• Advanced Excel skills and experience with financial systems or ERP platforms
• Knowledge of internal controls and audit processes

Responsibilities

• Daily Cash & Treasury Management: monitor bank accounts, balances, and transactions; ensure funding for provider payments, capitation runs, and refunds; initiate ACH/EFT/wire transfers; coordinate fund draws with client treasury.
• Payment Processing Oversight: oversee automated and manual payment cycles; ensure timely, compliant payments; resolve failures; manage stop-payments and reissues.
• Reconciliation & Financial Reporting: perform bank reconciliations; reconcile payment files and reports; identify discrepancies; produce reports for funding agency/auditors.
• Compliance, Controls & Audit Support: maintain internal controls; ensure segregation of duties; prepare compliance documentation for state/federal guidelines and audits.
• Vendor, Bank, and Agency Coordination: act as primary contact with banks, client fiscal offices, payment processors; coordinate NACHA/BAI2/CTX testing and implementation; follow HIPAA policies.
