Job summary

Guardian Life invites a rising junior to join our 2027 Guardian Summer Internship in Treasury Operations in New York, NY for a paid 10-week program from May 27, 2027 to August 6, 2027. You will work closely with the Investment Operations team, gaining hands-on experience in portfolios, settlements, cash, and reconciliation processes while learning from senior leaders.

You are pursuing a B.S. in Finance, and are curious, adaptable, and collaborative, with strong analytical and communication

Qualifications

Current enrollment in a B.S. program in Finance.
Interest in exploring multiple areas of Finance and Risk across the organization.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail; technology-driven mindset.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills and ability to work collaboratively.

Responsibilities

Support Investment Operations in daily processes related to portfolios and transactions.
Assist with monitoring trade settlement, cash, and position reconciliation exceptions.
Analyze operational data and contribute to process improvement and automation initiatives.
Learn from leaders, mentors, and colleagues across the organization.
Learn Guardian’s purpose, values, and offerings and build a network with interns across the business.
Think broadly and ask questions about data, facts, and information.
