Job summary

Huntington National Bank in the United States is seeking a Treasury Management Area Sales Manager to lead a team of Sales Advisors within a defined region. You will drive strategy, mentor staff, and build strong cash management relationships with large, complex clients.

The role requires 7+ years in banking or treasury management leadership, plus 3+ years selling or servicing commercial treasury products. Exempt and office-based with flexible work arrangements are noted.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Business or related field.
• 7+ years of experience in Management in Banking or Treasury Management.
• 3+ years’ experience in selling or servicing Commercial, Business Banking or Treasury products.
• CTP or other relevant professional certification.

Responsibilities

• Work with the Sales Director and/or Sales Manager in the development of a sales strategy for the respective area of responsibility while ensuring the execution of the strategy.
• Provide leadership; mentorship; and communicating direction and group strategy to the Sales Advisors in order to meet established Treasury Management goals.
• Responsible for sales prospecting, product pricing and structuring, and customer proposals.
• Develop and maintain profitable and quality cash management relationships with the largest and most complex customers.
• Maintain and manage weekly and monthly sales results and ensure the timely entering of weekly data and monitor for accuracy.
• Execute a partnership plan with all business partners across and products and the segment.
• Demonstrate execution, management, and coaching of the Challenger Sales Approach.
• Spearhead the building and leading of a high-performance sales culture within the Region.
• Completes all ACH, RDC, Wire and Special Pricing renewals in a timely manner to zero customer impact and delinquency.
• Responsible for the Region's risk and compliance training and acknowledgements prior to scheduled completion date.
• This role will interact with various senior leaders internally and externally. Internally this role will be responsible for coordinating activities with colleagues across multiple regions and job families. Externally this role will be expected to develop executive level relationships with segment clients and COI’s, and to represent HNB in Industry groups related to Treasury Management.

Basic Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Business or related field
