Treasury Manager - Global Media
New York City (Hybrid)

Our client is a major global media and entertainment studio known for producing world-class content across film, television, and digital platforms. As they continue to expand internationally, they are seeking a Treasury Manager with global experience to join their NYC-based finance team. This is a hybrid position offering the opportunity to work in a high-impact role while maintaining flexibility.

The Treasury Manager will play a key role in managing global cash operations, optimizing liquidity, and overseeing international banking relationships. This position requires a strong understanding of treasury in a complex, multi-entity, multi-currency environment-ideally within the media or entertainment industry. The ideal candidate brings a mix of strategic insight and hands-on execution, with experience supporting production financing, royalties, and global content operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage global cash positioning, liquidity forecasting, and intercompany funding strategies.

• Maintain and strengthen banking relationships across domestic and international markets.

• Oversee treasury operations, including cash pooling, FX exposure management, and short-term investments.

• Partner with production finance, tax, and legal teams on treasury structure for global content spend and licensing.

• Support hedging and risk management activities in alignment with corporate policy.

• Ensure treasury processes comply with internal controls and global regulatory requirements.

• Lead process improvements and system upgrades, leveraging treasury platforms and automation tools.

• Prepare and present regular reports to senior leadership on cash flow trends, risks, and opportunities.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field; MBA or CTP designation preferred.

• 5-8+ years of progressive treasury experience, with at least 3 years in a global or multinational context.

• Media, entertainment, or digital content industry experience is highly preferred.

• Strong knowledge of FX, liquidity management, and international banking structures.

• Proficiency in treasury systems (e.g., Kyriba, SAP Treasury, Reval) and Excel.

• Proven ability to work cross-functionally with international teams and senior leadership.

• Detail-oriented, analytical, and comfortable in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
