Job summary

First Merchants Corporation announces a 12-week paid Summer Internship Program designed for enthusiastic college students to gain hands-on experience in financial services. Qualifications

• Be a full-time Bachelor (or higher) degree-seeking student at an accredited college or university.
• Be available to work 40 hours per week from May 17th- August 6th, 2027.
• Be authorized to work in the United States.
• Have demonstrated interest in the industry and/or specific area of interest.
• Possess a GPA of 3.0 or higher.
• Be able and willing to travel periodically throughout the First Merchants footprint, if applicable.

Responsibilities

• The Treasury Management Intern will support the Treasury Management Sales team through day-to-day responsibilities, projects, and initiatives that contribute to departmental goals.
• Responsibilities may include researching client and prospect opportunities, preparing sales and portfolio reviews, supporting pipeline and reporting activities, analyzing treasury management products and services, and assisting with process improvement initiatives.
• Throughout the internship, they will gain exposure to treasury management sales, relationship management, and commercial banking operations.
• They will have opportunities to collaborate with cross-functional teams, participate in client-focused projects, and contribute to meaningful initiatives that support departmental goals.
