Job summary

WSFS Bank, a regional bank and wealth management company, seeks a Treasury Relationship Manager to support Treasury Management sales and manage commercial, municipal, and Not-For-Profit banking relationships. The role involves collaborating with Commercial Relationship Managers, delivering tailored treasury solutions, and ensuring compliance across portfolios.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years in financial services, a business degree, and knowledge of treasury products, with CT P preferred.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in a business-related field preferred.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in financial services or banking.
  • Prior sales experience with commercial and/or retail banking products.
  • Knowledge of treasury management products and solutions.
  • CTP accreditation preferred; or willingness to take courses to obtain it.
  • Must be self-motivated with minimal supervision.
  • Excellent listening ability and effective sales presentation skills.
  • Ability to interact and build rapport with internal and external customers.

Responsibilities

  • Sell Treasury Management needs of customers/prospects across all bank divisions, prioritizing Commercial and Retail.
  • Serve as a referral source for other bank products and services.
  • Meet with customers/prospects to gather deposit, financial, operating, and business needs for optimal treasury structure.
  • Prepare in-depth proposals that demonstrate the bank’s capability to meet needs.
  • Identify opportunities to deliver treasury products/services and refer to bank partners.
  • Collaborate with Commercial Relationship Managers to onboard and retain clients through Treasury Reviews.
  • Monitor portfolios with periodic Treasury Reviews to ensure proper product utilization.
  • Adhere to compliance training and report concerns to management.
  • Willingness to travel to meet with customers/prospects.
  • Annual evaluation based on financial goals and profitability of portfolios.
  • Report exceptions to policy and pricing for approval.

The Treasury Relationship Manager provides Treasury Management sales support to Commercial, Retail and all other areas of the Bank. In addition, the incumbent will manage commercial, municipal, and Not-For-Profit banking relationships with non-credit needs. The work experience would dictate the complexity of the customer relationships managed by the Treasury Management Relationship Manager ("TMRM").

Job Responsibilities
  • Sells to the Treasury Management needs of customers/prospects in all divisions of the Bank but primarily Commercial and Retail Divisions.
  • Serves as a referral source for other Bank products and services.
  • Meets with customers/prospects to develop information as to their deposit, financial, operational and business needs to determine how the Bank can provide the most optimal Treasury Management structure
  • Performs appropriate analysis of the customer/prospect needs and prepares in-depth, competitive proposals/pro formas that demonstrate the Bank's capability to meet their needs.
  • Identify opportunities to deliver treasury products/services and make referrals to other Bank partners.
  • Collaborate with dedicated Commercial Relationship Managers to onboard new clients and retain existing clients through periodic and consultative Treasury Reviews.
  • Monitor existing customer portfolios by completing periodic Treasury Reviews to ensure customers are fully utilizing the most appropriate treasury products and services to meet their banking needs.
  • Adhere to all Compliance Requirements, complete all compliance training prior to deadline and report any concerns to management.
  • Will be required to travel, as needed to meet with customers/prospects.
  • Annual evaluation is based on the overall financial goals and profitability of assigned RM portfolios.
  • Report any exceptions to policy and pricing to management for approval.
Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s Degree in a business-related field is preferred.
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience working in a financial services or banking environment is required.
  • Must have prior sales experience with commercial and/or retail banking products.
  • Knowledge of treasury management products and solutions are required.
  • Certified Treasury Professional (CTP) accreditation is preferred; or willingness to take the necessary courses to obtain and maintain it.
  • Must be self-motivated and able to work with minimal supervision.
  • Must have excellent listening ability and effective sales presentation skills.
  • Must have the ability to interact and establish good rapport with both internal and external customers.
  • Must have superior customer service and sales skills.
  • Must have the ability to travel within the bank's footprint.

Salary Range

$64,491.00 - $105,949.50 Individual base pay may vary on additional factors such as the candidate's experience, job-related skills, relevant education, geographic location, and other specific business and organizational needs.
