First Merchants Bank is seeking a Treasury Management Officer to drive new and existing customer relationships with a focus on deposits and treasury management services. The role involves collaborating with commercial teams, identifying suitable treasury solutions, and coordinating implementation for clients with complex needs.

Qualifications

• Associates degree in management, finance, business or related field required.
• Minimum of three (3) years of business development, sales or related financial services experience required.
• Valid driver’s license; travel frequently throughout the geographic footprint.

Responsibilities

• Enhance existing customer relationships by introducing new treasury management services/products.
• Serve as primary contact for deposits and treasury management for a sizable client base.
• Collaborate with business lines to schedule calls on new prospects and resolve treasury-related issues.
• Identify appropriate treasury products; coordinate setup and implementation.
• Perform account analysis to review costs and pricing for potential and existing customers.
• Manage income production and loss prevention.
• Provide training to peers on treasury products and services.
• Conduct relationship reviews to ensure proper pricing and cross-sell opportunities.
