U.S. Bank is seeking an experienced regional leader to manage Treasury Management and Payments sales across a defined territory. You will hire, coach, and hold accountable a high-performing sales team to drive revenue using solution selling strategies and frequent client interactions.

The role partners with market leaders and line of business teams to grow portfolio and source new business, while achieving annual sales production and revenue goals.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of financial solutions selling or related experience.
• 7+ years of sales coaching experience.
• Experience leading sales teams and driving revenue growth.

Responsibilities

• Lead Sales Consultants to partner with Relationship Managers to grow pipeline, revenue and close business.
• Provide Treasury Management leadership to markets and divisions within the territory.
• Achieve and maintain assigned pipeline requirements and revenue goals.
• Set expectations, measure results, and communicate rewards and consequences of performance.
• Engage in frequent coaching sessions to improve overall sales performance.
• Coordinate strategy with relationship management and functional partners to optimize pricing and services.
• Ensure compliance with US Bancorp policies and required regulations.

Job Description

This position is responsible for managing a regional territory of Treasury Management and Payment Consultants, working to develop new and existing Treasury Management and Payments business. The role requires a strong ability to hire, develop, coach and hold accountable a team of high performing sales people that generate revenue by utilizing solution selling strategies. This role also requires frequent client and prospect interaction, as well as a close partnership with market/division leaders. This position will be required to use the solution selling model to grow and track the team's existing portfolio and source new business, as well as, achieve annual sales production and revenue goals.

Job Responsibilities:

• Drive the Sales Consultants to partner effectively with RM's to grow pipeline, revenue and close business
• Provide Treasury Management support and leadership to markets/divisions within their territory
• Achieve and maintain assigned pipeline requirements
• Set proper expectations, measure results, and communicate rewards and consequences of performance
• Engage in frequent coaching sessions to improve overall sales performance
• Clearly communicate Sales Consultants responsibilities with line of business and service partners
• Understand current market conditions impacting product and pricing
• Coordinate strategy, tactics and sales approach with relationship management and functional partners
• Eliminate non-revenue generating obstacles for Sales Consultants, such as implementation and customer service calls to ensure a service free sales force
• Actively ensure compliance with all US Bancorp policies and procedures such as Code of Ethics and all Anti-Money Laundering, Bank Secrecy Act, information security and suspicious activity reporting requirements, etc.
• At minimum 50% travel will be required

Basic Qualifications:

• 7+ years of financial solutions selling or related experience
• 7+ years of sales coaching experience

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree or Master's Degree preferred
• Ability to exercise assertive leadership in markets to drive results
• Strong understanding of sales process, solution selling approach, and working capital management practices
• Well-developed verbal and written communication skills including presenting to large audiences
• Ability to take ownership, implement, and execute TM business strategy
• Demonstrated ability to develop creative solutions
• Proficiency in Treasury Management and Payments Solutions
• Well-developed analytical, decision-making and problem-solving skills
• Traveling at minimum 50% in market
