Although titled as an Implementation Specialist, this position functions as a dedicated Project Manager responsible for leading complex Treasury Management client implementations from project initiation through successful go live. This role is accountable for managing all phases of the onboarding lifecycle, from project initiation to completion, or integrating seamlessly into projects already underway to ensure strategic alignment and successful delivery. Success in this position requires exceptional time management, deep subject matter expertise in commercial banking treasury services, and a comprehensive understanding of both functional and technical implementation components.

Summary:
The Treasury Management Onboarding Implementation Specialist plays a pivotal role in leading the end-to-end execution of complex onboardings for high value treasury management clients. Although titled as an Implementation Specialist, this position functions as a dedicated Project Manager responsible for leading complex Treasury Management client implementations from project initiation through successful go live. This role is accountable for managing all phases of the onboarding lifecycle, from project initiation to completion, or integrating seamlessly into projects already underway to ensure strategic alignment and successful delivery. Success in this position requires exceptional time management, deep subject matter expertise in commercial banking treasury services, and a comprehensive understanding of both functional and technical implementation components.
The ideal candidate will demonstrate mastery of project management methodologies, subject matter expertise of treasury management products, outstanding communication and documentation skills, and the ability to strategically schedule and sequence activities to meet critical deliverables. They must also excel in driving alignment across internal teams, external partners, and clients, ensuring seamless execution and optimal outcomes. The Project Manager will orchestrate workflows with precision, engage key stakeholders, define and assign responsibilities, and establish clear expectations and accountability. Through expectations setting and milestone tracking, they ensure projects are delivered on time, exceed expectations, and achieve successful results. It is expected that the Project Manager will handle multiple client implementations concurrently.

Basic Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree
• 4+ years’ project management experience required leading Commercial Treasury Management implementations, onboarding engagements, and client-facing project management initiatives within a financial institution.
• 4+ years direct responsibility for managing complex Commercial Banking clients with high-touch (“white glove”) implementation requirements from project initiation through successful go-live.
• 4+ years experience building and maintaining project dashboards, implementation workflow schedules, status reports, meeting documentation, issue logs, and implementation milestones within project management software.
• 4+ years managing multiple concurrent client implementations while meeting timelines, deliverables, and client expectations.
• Demonstrated ability to coordinate, influence, and drive accountability across cross-functional teams, including Sales, Product Management, Service, Operations, Technology, Risk, Vendors, and Client stakeholders.
• 4+ years experience Commercial Treasury Management products, onboarding processes, operational workflows, implementation dependencies, and industry best practices.
• 4+ years experience leading client-facing meetings, implementation discussions, and executive-level communications.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Experience using Monday.com to manage implementation project plans, task dependencies, milestones, stakeholder communications, and status reporting.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including professional grammar, tone, and presentation in both face-to-face and virtual environments.
• Strong project management capabilities with the ability to drive initiatives forward, maintain focus, and deliver results.
• Highly meticulous with strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
• Exceptional interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trust and maintain strong client relationships.
• Proven ability to manage multi-stakeholder projects in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
• Collaborative mindset with the ability to work effectively across multiple lines of business and functional teams.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other project management tools.
