Job summary

Nebraska Furniture Mart is seeking a Treasury Manager to lead our treasury function and work with senior leadership to drive informed financial decisions. You will manage liquidity, banking relationships, financing, investments, and treasury controls while applying your skills in financial analysis, forecasting, and strategic planning.

In this highly visible role, you will collaborate with leaders across Finance and Operations to explain results, anticipate cash needs, and evaluate opportunities

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; MBA and/or CPA preferred.
• 5 years of experience in finance or treasury management.
• Knowledge of capital and liquidity management.
• Supervision skills – demonstrated ability to lead and direct staff for projects assigned.
• Knowledge of Internet software; Spreadsheet software and Word Processing software.
• Ability to work night, weekend and/or early morning hours based on business needs.
• Pre-employment screening includes, but isn’t limited to, criminal background check.

Responsibilities

• Direct: Guide daily cash positioning and maintain liquidity to meet operating needs.
• Forecast: Project cash flow and explain variances.
• Manage: Oversee banking relationships and cash concentration; lead Vendor Receivable Team.
• Build: Create financial models for cash forecasting and financing decisions.
• Analyze: Assess store ops, inventory, purchasing and receivables impact on cash flow.
• Evaluate: Review investments and initiatives with business cases and ROI.
