Job summary

National Life Group in Addison, TX offers a 10-week paid Treasury internship (June 1 – August 6). You will learn treasury processes, cash management, and daily deposits while supporting ongoing initiatives.

The onsite role requires four core in-office days (Mon–Thu). Candidates should study Finance or Business Administration, be proficient with MS Office, and demonstrate solid financial acumen. This program emphasizes mentorship and collaboration across departments.

Qualifications

• Proficient with MS Office tools.
• Good financial and business acumen.
• Coursework in Finance or Business administration a plus.

Responsibilities

• Process incoming cash equivalents.
• Complete daily deposits by reconciling bank statements and uploading deposits into National Life’s ledger.
• Collaborate with the Treasury team in validating documented processes and providing appropriate updates as identified.
• Support ongoing Treasury initiatives that may require collaboration with other business areas.
• Time permitting, may update Treasury reporting and refine as appropriate.
• Shadow the Cash Manager on the cash management process.
• Support the Director of Treasury in the Rating Agency process.
