Job summary

Itron is seeking an Intern - Treasury to provide finance students with hands-on experience in corporate treasury within a global company. The role supports cash management, forecasting, and monthly closings while building knowledge of treasury processes.

Based in Liberty Lake, WA, the internship offers 40 hours/week during Summer 2027 (May/June start to August/September). It features a hybrid schedule with 2 days on-site per week; the stated wage range for Liberty Lake is $15.87–$44.23 per hour.

Qualifications

• Enrolled in an accredited related degree program with at least two years of college coursework (Finance, Accounting or related).
• Intermediate Excel skills (pivot tables, vlookup, formulas, functions, etc.).
• Professional workplace communication skills.
• Knowledge of corporate treasury.

Responsibilities

• Support cash management, cash positioning and cashflow forecasting activities.
• Assist in the preparation of monthly and quarterly closing requirements.
• Coordinate in the review of treasury procedures to remove redundancies and increase efficiencies.
• Assist in monitoring bank charges database to identify and recommend improvements.
• Collaborate with Treasury system analysts on data comparison and validation.
• Contribute to Treasury team projects.
• Assist front/back office with spot trades, intercompany netting and hedging.
• Monitor processes related to the Treasury Management System (e.g., bank statement flows, payment file movements).
