New York State Insurance Fund (NYSIF) is seeking an Intern in Albany, NY to assist in the Treasury Department with data entry, data cleanup, and cost-recovery processes. You will review emails, update spreadsheets, and perform basic treasury data analysis and reporting.

The role requires enrollment in a NYS college or residency, at least two years of college completed, and a 3.0 GPA. Part-time hours (minimum 10 per week) with potential for winter-break full-time work are available.

Qualifications

• Date entry, data cleaning, and statistical analysis experience.
• Active enrollment in a New York State college or residency and attending a NYS college/university.
• Completed a minimum of two years as a student at a degree-granting college or university.
• Minimum GPA of 3.0 or equivalent.
• Able to work at least 10 hours per week; winter break hours may be full-time.

• Treasury data analysis and reporting as required

Minimum Qualifications

• Candidates must possess education and/or work experience in date entry, data cleaning, and statistical analysis.
• Be actively enrolled in a New York State college, university, or graduate program, or be a resident of New York State, attending a college, university, or graduate program outside of New York State.
• Have completed a minimum of two (2) years as a student at a degree-granting two or four-year college or university (completion of two year's worth of academic credits over a longer period may qualify part-time students for participation in the program).
• Have a minimum grade point average (GPA) of 3.0, or the letter grade equivalent
• Must be able to work at least 10 hours per week; full-time winter break hours preferred. Internships may extend into the following spring depending on availability.
