Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in accounting is required.
5–7 years of progressively responsible accounting experience desired.
Public accounting experience is preferred.
Prior supervisory experience preferred.
Must have a working knowledge of accounting principles and procedures.
Knowledge of utility accounting, FERC and Rural Utilities System is preferred.
Responsibilities
Manages the daily cash management and related treasury activities.
Maintains corporations’ bank accounts and security measures.
Oversees accounts receivable and supervises AR staff.
Issues checks/ACHs; manages credit cards and petty cash; prepares deposits.
Assists with accounting information systems and system enhancements.
