Goldman Sachs in New York seeks a Vice President to lead Deposits Coverage & Strategy within Corporate Treasury. You will oversee the firm's deposit portfolio, design funding strategy, and serve as the primary contact with businesses to grow deposits and optimize liquidity.

Reporting to the Global Treasurer, you will mentor a junior team, analyze liquidity metrics, manage cross‑unit relationships (Marcus, Private Bank, Transaction Banking), and present findings to senior leadership.

• 6-10 years of relevant experience.
• Experience overseeing and developing a high-performing junior team.
• Excellent risk management mindset with sound judgment in dynamic conditions.
• Strong written and oral communication skills; ability to present to senior executives.
• Strong teamwork and interpersonal skills.
• Functional understanding of liquidity metrics and the bank balance sheet.
• Knowledge of deposits, interest rates, fixed income, repo, and/or equities markets a plus.
• Ability to balance multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Mansioni

• Support execution of the firm’s global deposit raising strategy, considering cost, channel diversification, funding capacity, and liquidity metrics.
• Assist in end-to-end management of the deposit sweep portfolio, contributing to marginal trade evaluation and deal coordination.
• Establish relationships with deposit-raising businesses including Marcus, Private Bank, and Transaction Banking; review pricing and acquisition strategies.
• Conduct research and develop presentations on deposit markets, competitor environment, and regulatory landscape.
• Develop frameworks and scenario analyses to inform liability risk management focus areas.
• Identify and communicate key deposit risks and trends to leadership, committees, and regulators.
• Engage with external stakeholders including regulatory agencies and funding counterparties.
