Job summary

Live Oak Bank in Wilmington, NC invites you to join its 10-week Summer 2027 Internship Program (May 17 - July 23, 2027) on the onsite team. As an intern in Deposit Operations and Treasury Management, you'll learn how deposit accounts are maintained, transactions processed, and treasury products implemented.

You will support daily tasks, assist with onboarding, identify improvements, and gain regulatory awareness.

Qualifications

Currently pursuing a bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, Economics, or a related field.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Clear written and verbal communication skills.
Proficiency with Microsoft Excel is preferred.

Responsibilities

Support daily deposit operations, including account maintenance and transaction processing.
Assist Treasury Management onboarding, implementation, and ongoing support.
Identify process improvements to make operations more efficient and client-friendly.
Prepare reports, reconcile data, and assist with quality checks across deposit and treasury functions.
Maintain regulatory awareness including BSA, AML, CIP, and OFAC.
Collaborate with Operations, Product, and Client Services to ensure a seamless client experience.
Participate in meetings, trainings, and projects to learn banking operations.
