Job summary

Investar Bank National As is seeking a Treasury Analyst in Los Angeles to oversee treasury functions, liquidity monitoring, and ALM reporting. You will work with senior management and external partners to ensure accurate accounting and regulatory compliance.

The role involves updating the Asset-Liability Model, supporting pledge processes, and preparing board and regulatory reports. Strong analytical and communication skills are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance is required.
• Strong accounting and financial analysis experience is required.
• CPA, CFA or CTP designation or pursuit is preferred.
• 1–3 years in finance or banking is preferred; treasury experience is a plus.
• Experience turning raw data into executive presentations is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist in updating the Asset-Liability Model for forecasting and planning.
• Support pledging by ensuring investments cover funds in Public Funds and Repo accounts.
• Monitor daily bank liquidity and optimize earnings rate.
• Input and post daily/monthly journal entries and assist end-of-month reconciliations.
• Create data visualizations to monitor balance sheet trends (loans, deposits, investments).
• Prepare monthly ALCO reports and minutes for review.
• Assist with regulatory reporting (FDIC Call Report) and SEC reporting (10K, 10Q).
• Serve as backup for other Accounting department staff and ensure compliance.
