Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a diligent Treasury Analyst to join its fully remote finance team, with proximity to East London. You will manage liquidity, cash flow, FX exposures, debt facilities, and investment activities to ensure the company has resources to operate and grow.

The ideal candidate is detail‑oriented, has 2–4 years in corporate treasury or related roles, strong forecasting skills, and proficiency in treasury management systems and Excel.

Qualifications

• Strong cash flow forecasting, liquidity management, and risk knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Monitor daily cash positions and optimize liquidity.

• Support administration of debt facilities and financing arrangements.
• Assist in evaluating investment opportunities for surplus cash.

About the Role

This role is instrumental in managing the company's liquidity, cash flow, and financial risk exposures. You will be responsible for cash management, foreign exchange operations, debt management, and investment activities, ensuring the company has the necessary financial resources to operate efficiently and pursue growth opportunities. Key Responsibilities

• Monitor daily cash positions and execute cash management activities to optimize liquidity.
• Forecast short-term and long-term cash flows, identifying potential shortfalls or surpluses.
• Manage foreign currency exposures and execute hedging strategies as required.
• Support the administration of debt facilities and other financing arrangements.
• Assist in the evaluation and execution of investment opportunities for surplus cash.
• Prepare treasury reports and analyses for senior management and relevant committees.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
• 2-4 years of experience in corporate treasury, cash management, or a related financial role.
• Strong understanding of cash flow forecasting, liquidity management, and financial risk principles.
• Proficiency in treasury management systems (TMS) and Microsoft Excel.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently, manage multiple tasks, and meet deadlines in a remote environment.
