Job summary

Blue Cross & Blue Shield of Mississippi is seeking a Treasury Analyst to monitor cash positions, forecast liquidity, and execute transfers to fund operations in support of health initiatives.

The role emphasizes strong financial stewardship, regulatory reporting, and collaboration with Finance. A background in accounting/finance and certifications such as CTP are preferred to excel in this position.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or Business with a 3.25 GPA.
• Experience working in Accounting, Finance, Treasury and/or Cash Management preferred.
• Certified Treasury Professional preferred.
• Must have strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Insurance accounting background or working with SAP preferred.

Responsibilities

• Monitor daily cash positions across multiple bank accounts.
• Prepare and maintain short-term cash forecasts and liquidity plans.
• Prepares cash forecasts and ensures sufficient funding for Company needs. Execute wire transfers, ACH payments, and internal fund transfers with accuracy, including payroll transactions.
• Review, prepare and submit regulatory reports.

What You’ll Do:
