The Treasury Analyst will support cash accounting, bank reconciliations, month-end close, and day-to-day treasury operations, with primary responsibility for bank reconciliations and cash-related close activities.
Working closely with the Treasury leadership team, this role will provide hands-on exposure to cash positioning, liquidity management, forecasting, banking activities, and treasury process improvement. It is well suited for an accounting professional looking to transition into a broader treasury-focused career.
What You'll Do
Cash Accounting & Month-End Close
- Prepare journal entries related to cash, bank activity, intercompany cash movements, and other treasury-related transactions.
- Support payroll-related month-end activities, including accruals, reclassifications, and benefit funding entries.
- Complete month-end close activities for cash and treasury-related accounts.
- Prepare bank and cash account reconciliations and resolve reconciling items.
- Investigate unusual cash transactions, timing differences, and unreconciled items.
- Ensure cash-related transactions are accurately recorded in accordance with company policies and accounting standards.
Treasury Operations
- Monitor daily bank activity and support reporting of cash balances and cash movements.
- Assist with daily cash reporting and treasury activities across bank accounts and banking platforms.
- Support bank account administration and treasury documentation.
- Assist with treasury controls related to cash movement, banking access, and payment oversight.
- Support audit requests and documentation related to cash and treasury processes.
Treasury Development
- Partner with Treasury leadership to gain exposure to cash positioning, forecasting, liquidity management, and broader treasury operations.
- Assist with treasury reporting, variance analysis, and special projects.
- Participate in process improvement initiatives focused on cash visibility, controls, and efficiency.
- Develop cross-functional knowledge by partnering with FP&A, Accounting, AP, Payroll, and Operations.
What You'll Bring
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- 2–5 years of experience in corporate accounting, public accounting, or a related finance role.
- Experience with journal entries, bank reconciliations, and month-end close.
- Strong understanding of cash activity and balance sheet reconciliation processes.
- Experience working in an ERP environment.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to investigate and resolve discrepancies.
- Genuine interest in developing a career in Treasury.
Preferred
- Experience with cash accounting or treasury-related accounts.
- Exposure to bank activity, cash reporting, or treasury operations.
- Experience working in a multi-entity or multi-location environment.
- Familiarity with banking portals, treasury reporting, or cash forecasting.
