  • Financial Reporting: Prepare and record journal entries related to treasury activities and support accurate financial recordkeeping.
  • Borrowing & Liquidity Support: Assist with borrowing cost analysis, financial modeling, and recommendations related to financing strategies.
  • Insurance Administration: Support the management of non-benefit insurance programs, including Property/Casualty, General Liability, and Workers’ Compensation policies, annual renewals, claims coordination, certificates of insurance, and premium payments.
  • Partner Financial Programs: Assist with highly confidential partner compensation arrangements, loan documentation, and related financial processes.
  • Credit Facility Management: Help administer the firm's credit agreement, including monthly reporting requirements and Letters of Credit.
  • Partner Capital Accounting: Reconcile partner capital accounts, review interest calculations for capital and cash flow loans, and prepare quarterly interest deduction upload files.
  • Project Support: Participate in treasury-related initiatives and special projects that enhance operational efficiency and financial management.
What You’ll Bring
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business required; with 1-2 years of experience in a audit, accounting, finance, or treasury/cash management role in a law firm or professional services industry, showing progressive growth in responsibilities
  • Financial Acumen: Understanding of finance, banking, insurance, and accounting concepts, with the ability to analyze information and support informed business decisions.
  • Technical Skills: Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint; familiarity with commercial banking platforms and Treasury Management Systems is a plus.
  • Systems Knowledge: Experience with Coupa and Elite 3E is preferred.
  • Attention to Detail: Strong organizational skills and a commitment to accuracy when managing financial transactions, reconciliations, and confidential information.
  • Communication & Ownership: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to work independently, manage priorities, and take ownership of assigned responsibilities.
