Qualifications

• 3 or more years of accounting experience.
• Strong understanding of US GAAP (US Generally Accepted Accounting Prinicples).
• Excellent communication skills, with strong attention to detail.
• Proven analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities and meet reporting deadlines.
• Demonstrated track record of process improvement and automation in accounting workflows.

Responsibilities

• Perform treasury accounting activities for the U.S. and Canada, including month-end close, account reconciliations, and preparation of disclosures for regulatory and SEC filings.
• Monitor and analyze daily cash activity and funding transactions.
• Develop interest expense forecasts for the U.S. and Canada.
• Serve as subject matter expert and partner with Corporate Treasury and other stakeholders on funding initiatives and special projects.
• Identify and implement process improvements, including automation.
