Americo Financial Life and Annuity is seeking a Treasury Accountant II to join our downtown Kansas City team. The role focuses on cash management, bank reconciliations, intercompany balancing, and audit-ready records within Oracle Fusion ERP and ARCS.

The ideal candidate will have 3–5+ years in treasury or related finance operations, a related bachelor's degree, and strong Excel/Word skills. This on-site position offers regular weekday hours and competitive compensation.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
3–5+ years of treasury accounting, corporate accounting, or related finance operations.
Strong understanding of bank reconciliations, cash positioning, forecasting, intercompany balancing, journal entry support, and GL analysis.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word, including VLOOKUPs and PivotTables.

Responsabilités

Utilize Oracle Fusion ERP Cash Management and ARCS to import bank statements and monitor reconciliation status.
Prepare, update, and analyze short-term cash forecasts for stakeholders.
Manage intercompany cash balancing and settlement activities, identifying out-of-balance conditions and coordinating corrections.
Collaborate with General Accounting, Policy Accounting, and Financial Reporting to resolve cash-related discrepancies.
Prepare month-end treasury accounting support including journal entry documentation and control evidence.
Maintain audit-ready reconciliation documentation and ensure compliance with policies and controls.
Support treasury reporting improvements and cross-functional issue resolution.
Serve as a subject matter resource for cash management and banking activity.
