Job summary

Complete Care at Harrington Court in Colchester, CT invites applications for a Part-Time TRD Therapeutic Recreation Assistant. The role involves leading and participating in activities, with every other weekend requirements, and requires TRD degree or equivalent experience.

Qualifications

• TRD preferred but not required.
• Graduate of an accredited high school or GED preferred.
• Ability to lead group programs.
• Ability to work independently or as part of a group.
• Must possess the ability to make independent decisions when circumstances warrant such action.
• Must possess the ability to deal tactfully with residents, families, visitors, staff and the public.
• Knowledge of elderly ill and/or disabled.

Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one activities or modifications as needed based on individual resident assessments and care plans.
