Position: Maintenance Supervisor

The Maintenance Supervisor will oversee complex, supervisory duties related to maintenance operations. Responsibilities include monitoring department performance daily, directing maintenance staff, ensuring proper documentation, maintaining safety standards, and supervising the installation, operation, maintenance, and modification of plant facilities and equipment. The role involves designing or adapting machinery, overseeing manufacturing processes, and optimizing production efficiency and safety.

Essential Functions, Duties & Responsibilities:
  1. Direct training of associates in electrical, electronic, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic maintenance and repair.
  2. Assist in diagnosing malfunctions, dismantling, assembling, and installing machinery during repairs or expansions.
  3. Interpret and enforce safety regulations and company policies.
  4. Recommend improvements to working conditions and equipment to enhance efficiency.
  5. Motivate associates to achieve company goals.
  6. Conduct training programs on specific equipment.
  7. Analyze and resolve maintenance and equipment problems, including modifications.
  8. Interpret blueprints, specifications, and job orders; adjust work procedures accordingly.
  9. Suggest and implement methods to improve production and equipment performance.
  10. Coordinate maintenance activities with managers and supervisors.
  11. Plan and budget for facility modifications, including cost estimates and contracts.
Additional Responsibilities:
  • Schedule personnel and project teams, including outside contractors.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by plant management.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
  • Background in Mechanical, Chemical, or Electrical Industry.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Bilingual in English/Spanish preferred.
Education & Experience:

Typically requires 4+ years of work experience, including 3 years in the Mechanical, Chemical, or Electrical Industry, along with a four-year degree from an accredited college or university.
