The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mechanical or HVAC construction, with the ability to lead field operations, coordinate subcontractors and trades, and ensure projects are delivered safely, efficiently, and to a high standard.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day field operations on large-scale data center and mission-critical construction projects.
• Supervise mechanical and HVAC installation activities, ensuring work is completed safely, on schedule, and in accordance with project specifications.
• Coordinate subcontractors, trades, equipment deliveries, and site resources to maintain project progress.
• Work closely with Project Managers, General Contractors, and other project stakeholders to resolve field issues and keep construction moving.
• Monitor project schedules, identify potential delays, and implement solutions to maintain key milestones.
• Conduct site walks, progress meetings, and quality inspections to ensure work meets required standards.
• Enforce company safety procedures and maintain a strong safety culture across the jobsite.
• Coordinate inspections, testing, commissioning support, and final system turnover.
• Review drawings, specifications, and installation plans to identify potential conflicts before they affect field operations.
• Maintain clear communication with project leadership regarding progress, manpower, material requirements, and potential challenges.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Superintendent or Mechanical Superintendent within commercial construction.
• Strong background in mechanical, HVAC, or MEP construction and field operations.
• Data center, hyperscale, or other mission-critical project experience is strongly preferred.
• Experience managing subcontractors, coordinating multiple trades, and leading site teams.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, specifications, and project schedules.
• Strong understanding of construction safety, quality control, and installation standards.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Willingness to travel extensively across the United States based on project requirements.
