Ideal Dental is seeking a Periodontic Dental Assistant to support our periodontic team and patients in a fast-paced, patient-focused clinic environment. You will receive training and tools to grow your skills while contributing to high-quality specialty care.

Work closely with the Periodontist to ensure precision, efficiency, and a smooth clinical experience, and educate patients on post-treatment care to promote healing and long-term oral health.

Qualificações

• Active Registered Dental Assistant License is required.
• Current CPR certification is required.
• Minimum of 1 year of specific Periodontic or Surgical experience.

Responsabilidades

• Greeting patients and creating a welcoming environment.
• Assist Periodontist with procedures and manage instrument setup.
• Perform X-rays and chart treatments.
• Sterilize instruments and prepare treatment rooms.

As a Periodontic Dental Assistant at Ideal Dental, you will play a vital role in supporting both our patients and clinical team throughout the periodontic treatment process. What You'll Do

• Create a welcoming environment for patients, helping them feel comfortable and confident throughout their periodontic journey.
• Support patients through complex periodontic procedures, helping them feel informed, calm, and confident throughout their treatment experience.
• Work alongside the Periodontist to ensure precision, efficiency, and a smooth clinical experience tailored to each patient’s needs.
• Educate patients on post-treatment care and recovery to promote healing and long‑term oral health.
• Coordinate care and follow‑ups, ensuring patients receive timely treatment and clear communication throughout their visit.
• Maintain detailed and accurate records to support clinical decision-making and continuity of care.
• Foster a collaborative team environment by staying proactive, adaptable, and committed to delivering high-quality specialty care.
• Contribute to the success of the periodontic practice by helping manage clinical readiness, patient flow, and operational support.

Responsibilities

• Assisting Peridontist with procedures
• Sterilizing instruments and setting up trays
• Preparing treatment rooms
• Assisting with conscious and iv sedation
• Performing X-rays
• Charting existing and recommended treatments
• Performing other duties as required to support the office and periodontic team

What do you need to have to be a part of our team?

• Active Registered Dental Assistant License
• Current CPR certification
• Minimum of 1 years of specific Periodontic or Surgical (OS) experience
• Must be willing to travel within assigned areas
